In the Waters of Memory series, Pračková is overlapping and layering memories of her home and childhood winter landscape with the mighty Mekong river, creating a personal dialogue with geographically distant friends, who are sending her visual postcards, the reminders of her home country .
These photos confirm her belief in the own memory of water: its ability to absorb while moving and preserving information.
